WKNC hosts Fridays on the Lawn

WKNC 88.1 FM is kicking off its fall 2014 “Fridays on the Lawn” concert series on Sept. 19 with performance by David Childers and Nathan Golub. Described by Bob Crawford of The Avett Brothers as “the most prolific North Carolina songwriter alive,” Childers and Crawford perform together as part of the group Overmountain Men. Childers will also stop by the WKNC studios around 3 p.m. for an interview.
