Two Student Media staff up for Leader of the Pack

Nubian Message editor Keilah Davis and WKNC DJ Kat Kirby are two of six finalists for NC State’s prestigious Leader of the Pack award. According to Leadership and Civic Engagement, “The Leader of the Pack Program recognizes undergraduate students who make outstanding contributions to NC State in the areas of leadership, scholarship and community service. Finalists for the honor are selected based on grade-point average, a personal interview, extracurricular activities, written essays on their leadership and service experience and student-body vote.”

All six Leader of the Pack finalists will be recognized at the NC State homecoming football game v. Florida State on Saturday, Nov. 3. The winning student will receive a $3,000 scholarship and a class ring.
