Agromeck finalist for Crown award

Columbia Scholastic Press Association has named the 2011 Agromeck yearbook as a finalist for one of its coveted Crown awards. The 376-page full color book will receive either a Gold or Silver Crown during the Spring National College Media Convention March 18-20 in New York.

Edited by Susannah Brinkley, the book placed third for yearbooks 300 or more pages in the Associated Collegiate Press Best of Show contest in October 2011. Agromeck has earned five Pacemaker national awards and three Gold Crowns since 2004.

Rebel, the arts and literary magazine at East Carolina University, was the only other Collegiate Crown finalist from North Carolina.
