Applications are now being accepted for editor of the 2011-2012 Agromeck yearbook.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have been a member of the staff for at least two full semesters.*
  • Candidates must have at least two semesters remaining as an N.C. State University student.*
  • Candidates must have at least a 2.50 grade point average.
  • Candidates must be a full-time N.C. State University student unless in final semester of course of study.
  • Candidates must be clear of active disciplinary sanctions, subject to the review of the Official of Student Conduct.
  • Candidates must meet minimum training requirements.

* The board may decide to waive these requirements.

STEP ONE: The position package — due Tuesday, Sept. 6, noon, 321 Witherspoon

The position package is due Tuesday, Sept. 6 by noon to Martha Collins in 321 Witherspoon Student Center. As we are a deadline-driven organization, packages won’t be accepted, copied or distributed late.

STEP TWO: The interview — Thursday, Sept. 8, 7:30 p.m., 201 Witherspoon

The members of the Student Media Board of Directors and the advisory board can pick up their packets after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6. You may contact them by e-mail or phone or talk with them in person to answer questions prior to the advisory board meeting. During the meeting, each candidate will be given time to answer questions, ask questions and/or give a statement.

STEP THREE: The Board meeting — Tuesday, Sept. 13, 7 p.m., 201 Witherspoon

The advisory board will make a recommendation to the Student Media Board of Directors at the meeting on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. All candidates should attend in case Board members have other questions.
