WKNC ends semester at Moogfest
WKNC had a busy school year, with students covering a number of North Carolina and national music festivals. This past weekend WKNC sent staff to Asheville to provide blog and social media coverage of Moogfest, a five-day festival dedicated to the synthesis of technology, art and music. Earlier this month WKNC broadcast live from Winston-Salem’s PhuzzPhest and sent staff to the Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival.

This past weekend WKNC sent staff to Asheville to provide blog and social media coverage of Moogfest, a five-day festival dedicated to the synthesis of technology, art and music. Described on the festival website as “an experimental lineup of daytime conference programming featuring cultural, artistic and technological luminaries … punctuated by a line up of diverse landmark nightly performances, Moogfest honors the creativity and inventiveness of Bob Moog and pays tribute to the legacy of the analog synthesizer.”
