Gilbert honored with Pride of the Wolfpack

Student Media Associate Director Jamie Lynn Gilbert was among 25 recipients of the spring 2018 "Pride of the Wolfpack" award. She received the honor at the Division of Academic and Student Affairs End of Year Celebration and Awards Ceremony on April 23.

WKNC raises $6,500 at Double Barrel Benefit 15

WKNC 88.1 FM HD-1 raised $6,500 from this year’s Double Barrel Benefit, an annual two-night benefit concert for the station. Now in its 15th year, Double Barrel took place on Friday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 3 at Kings in downtown Raleigh.

WKNC leads sessions at CBI San Antonio

Two WKNC students led educational sessions at College Broadcasters, Inc.'s sixth annual National Student Electronic Media Convention Nov. 2-3, 2017 in San Antonio. CBI San Antonio featured more than 100 breakout sessions and brought more than 400 students, advisers/managers and professionals to San Antonio for the three-day event.
